Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Silently Hits PS4 and Xbox One
High Moon Studios seems to know what it’s doing when tasked with handling the Transformers franchise. When we reviewed Transformers: Fall of Cybertron back in August of 210 we gave it a whopping 87 calling it a ‘must own for any Transformers fan. We weren’t the only ones who loved it either, with the game receiving a great reception from fans and critics everywhere. For that reason alone we’re left to wonder why there was so little fanfare over Fall of Cybertron launching on the PS4 and Xbox One?
Perhaps due to the dismal re-release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance Bundle, or the equally dismal TMNT and Ghostbusters outings recently, it seems as if Activision couldn’t bat a homer to save its life in recent times. Slide in, nice and quiet, hope that nobody makes a big deal?
Appearing for a price f $49.99 and featuring three DLC packs (Multiplayer Havoc Pack, Dinobot Destructor Pack, and Massive Fury Pack), Transformers: Fall of Cybertron arrived today with nary a whisper. Ported by FunLabs, we have reason to be wary of the game as their last outing was the much-maligned Prototype: Biohazard Bundle that didn’t really turn a lot of heads.
At any rate, you can get your hands on Transformers: Fall of Cybertron right now and trust that if it’s anything like the original release it’s still a pretty amazing game. We just wouldn’t recommend going in with any high expectations!
