Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 Video Review – FIFA Continues to Crush This

Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 Video Review

The latest game featuring the most watched sport worldwide has arrived in Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2018. The series, having begun life back in 2001, has seen a rise in dedicated players as they choose a side between PES and its video game soccer rival, FIFA, for domination of their European Football experience. While FIFA has always been a series more noted by the casual fan, Pro Evolution Soccer has always felt like a more specialized experience for the dedicated fan of the sport. How does the latest iteration of the series hold up? Check out our video review below and see for yourself.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 improves on the control of the ball with new dribbling and shielding mechanics, as well as introducing the new Real Touch+ feature: the ball will react to the touch of any body part for more realistic yet somewhat unpredictable ball movement. Players also have more awareness of their surroundings, keeping their body positioned between the ball and the opposition, with physically stronger players now being a more noticeable obstacle.

All players have been motion captured and scanned into the game to get the finest details, and the stadiums have been built to recreate them in realistic detail down to the grass and lighting. There are 2v2 and 3v3 co-op options, as well as a host of new and improved features to create a refreshed and realistic experience for the PES series.
