God of War is the latest entry in the series, a soft reboot of the franchise taking the Ghost of Sparta, Kratos, and showing him as an older and wiser warrior in a brand new world of Norse mythology. Kratos sets out to spread the ashes of Atreus mother from the highest peak – her dying wish – and the adventure begins. The game has seen a substantial change from the previous entries in the series including combat mechanics, RPG elements, and camera angles, to name just a few key changes. Kratos will also be travelling alongside his son, Atreus, as he attempts to teach him to be an even greater man than himself.
We reviewed God of War, the sensational experience earning itself a 95 not just from us but sweeping across the board. God of War is the highest rated PlayStation 4 game of all time and is absolutely a contender for Game of the Year.
