Astro’s Playroom Video Review
Starting life in The Playroom on the PS4, the cute little bots were part of a throwaway collection of mini-games that were preloaded on the console. Refusing to be left aside, the appearance of the wide-eyed bots stole the show when featured on a second collection of mini-games entitled Playroom VR. It was at this point that the mechanical characters gained momentum, and in response to fan demand, Astro Bot Rescue Mission released on the PSVR and was arguable the biggest innovation in 3D Platformers since Mario 64. Now leading the way on the PS5, will Astro’s Playroom be a worthy successor to its PSVR release?
When we talk about the PS5, one of the first topics that emerge is about the DualSense controller. Is it just a glorified HD rumble? Will it actually change the gameplay experience? Is it just another gimmick? Although we have tons of questions, Astro’s Playroom attempts to answers them all and you will not be disappointed with the little guy’s response.
