Anthem: The First 26 Minutes on PC
Yes, it is almost here. While the early access for Anthem has already begun, the rest of the public is only a few short days away from joining in on one of the biggest-buzzing games of the year so far. With strong opinions of the game on both sides of the fence, we bring to you the first 26 minutes of Anthem to see just what the game has in store for you. Showing off its narrative, voice acting, and gameplay, we advise you make some popcorn, sit back, and enjoy this lengthy look at EA’s latest shared world experience.
Anthem is the upcoming shared world game from EA Studios and BioWare. Set on the unfinished planet of Bastion, Anthem sees the player take on the role of the latest Freelancer – a trained Javelin pilot tasked with scouting, surveying, and protecting the walled city of Fort Tarsis. You’ll be able to play as all four kinds of Javelins, each with their own unique loadouts and play styles. This is also the first game to offer the “our world, my story” motif in which while inside Fort Tarsis you will play in a first person, single player experience whereas outside the fort you will be in a shared world with three other players.
Anthem’s VIP Demo weekend and Free Demo weekend each had some technical issues but these problems have made the early access launch even smoother than it would have been. Do you plan on buying the game? Have you already been playing? Let us know on Facebook, Twitter, or the Comments section below. The game releases February 22nd on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
