Water Mine Puzzle
God of War Ragnarök features its fair share of puzzles. One of the more complex ones you’ll first encounter is on your search for Tyr. As you venture down a mine, you’ll have to manipulate the flow of water to activate certain wheels so you can progress. Stuck? Well, don’t worry as we here at COGconnected have got you covered.
When you arrive at your first area simply hit the green blockage with a sonic arrow from Atreus. Next, throw your axe at the path of water in order to turn the wheel. This will allow you to swing over the gap and go through the door.
Continue to the next door and fire elemental arrows at the specified locations. Squeeze through the gap to find some enemies. Annihilate these and follow the track.
In the next puzzle section, you will need to break the wooden barrier with a throw of your ice axe. Make sure you throw this in line with the wheel so the water trickles onto and activates the mechanism. When you swing over, you’ll discover that the lift needs power. Swing back across and climb up a dangling chain. Continue forth and pull the lever with your Blades of Chaos to power the lift.
Head back to where you swing to the lift. Initiate the crane to rise by icing the path to divert the water away from the lift. Now you can step into the lift and simply recall your axe to head up.
Moving On
Continue across the next area where you’ll have some enemies to face. In the wall, you will notice a decomposing body, interacting with this to gain a relic. Try out your new ability on the foes that appear then squeeze through the gap in the wall to continue.
In the next section, you will need to shoot the lantern with your sonic arrows to continue. Move to the far end and do the same on the item blocking the chain to raise it then zip across. Give your kid a boost to find a crank for the final part of the puzzle. Here you need to move several wheels. Throw your axe to freeze the water near the wheel then get Atreus to pull the lever. Let the crystals fall to build a barrier. After this, divert the next stream of water and swing across. Now get your kid to fire an elemental arrow at the blockade you built. Venture down the path until you reach a huge door. Shoot the four corners with the sonic arrows to then be attacked by Bifrost enemies. Make quick work of them then go back to the door to meet Tyr.
