God of War – PS4 – April 20
Last and certainly not least, we have God of War. This mythology-based, action-adventure title moves on from Greek mythology to Norse mythology, featuring an aged Kratos, his son, and a much different gameplay style. Our very own Doug Mercer went hands-on with this anticipated title last month and had this to say: “If you’re a fan of the series, prepare your wallets. If you’re new to the series, prepare your wallets. The emotional levity this game brings to a title known for its violence makes this one of the most well-rounded games I’ve touched in a while. Somehow, a bitter Kratos may be even more appealing than an angry one.”
