The Best Video Game Releases for November 2017
Leading into November 2017, the past month had some of the best games of the year release. With Super Mario Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and much more, gamers had a plethora of options when it came to games. Just like the previous month, November 2017 is shaping up to be another solid entry into the 2017 calendar, so let’s take a look!
Call of Duty: WWII – PC, PS4, X1 – November 3
For the first time in quite a long time, Call of Duty returns to its roots with Call of Duty: WWII. That’s right, gone are the jetpacks and exoskeletons and we are back to boots on the ground, at least for now. With a campaign that focuses more on the narrative as well as a new cooperative mode, Call of Duty looks for a return to form not found in some of the more recent iterations. For the first time in perhaps too long, this is a Call of Duty that looks to be a must-have.
Need for Speed Payback – PC, PS4, X1 – November 10
One of the longest-running, active racing series makes its return with a vengeance with Need for Speed Payback. Despite being a racing franchise, the game will have a greater focus on “action driving”, which was expected given that the gameplay demos thus far have seemed more like The Fast and the Furious rather than Forza. As a positive, the single-player portion will be playable offline, unlike the past most recent Need for Speed title. With an open world, day-and-night cycle, and a focus on action driving, we expect Need for Speed Payback to be an enjoyable, action-packed experience!
