Top 5 Video Game Releases to Watch for November 2017

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds – PS4 – November 7

It seems like ages ago, but Horizon Zero Dawn released just earlier this year in February, and its expansion Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds is making its long-awaited release. Fans of the title are sure to be in for a treat, and we expect Guerilla Games to deliver yet again. In The Frozen Wilds, players will take Aloy beyond the northern mountains on a new journey full of mysteries and new enemies. As the one and only expansion to Horizon Zero Dawn, we can expect the developers to pour in everything else they have for the game in this expansion before moving on to whatever is next.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 – PC, PS4, X1 – November 14

Say what you want about the LEGO games, but they are always highly enjoyable, easy to pick up games suitable for all ages. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will certainly be that family friendly title of November 2017, and that is just fine. Players will be able to take control of one of many Marvel heroes and villains such as Spider-Man, Thor, and Carnage. With a time-traveling narrative and a huge cast of playable characters, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is sure to be a hit title come Christmas.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 – PC, PS4, X1 – November 17

Last, and certainly not least, is Star Wars Battlefront 2. While the first iteration of the rebooted series was not as well received as EA might have hoped for, the developers listened to fan feedback as Star Wars Battlefront 2 is easily the most hyped title going into November 2017. While news of microtransactions has soured some of the hype, the core gameplay experience speaks for itself. Compared to the first game, the most notable addition is the single-player campaign which focuses on an Imperial Special Forces group known as Inferno Squad. While microtransactions are a thing, the DLC such as maps will all be free, and we are hopeful that the microtransactions will not be too intrusive into the multiplayer progression.
