Hello Neighbor – PC, X1 – December 8
What do you get when you mix stealth horror with aesthetics reminiscent of Pixar films? If you said Hello Neighbor, you are absolutely correct. This stealth horror game tasks you with sneaking into your neighbor’s basement to find out what he is hiding. Unlike other horror games that can be scripted, your neighbor in this game is controlled by an advanced AI that will learn from your actions in order to catch you. Though Halloween is long gone, we are looking forward to outsmarting this not so friendly neighbor.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – X1 (Xbox Game Preview) – December 12
Despite still being in Early Access, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has been a massive hit on PC. This popular title is making its way to consoles in December 2017 on the Xbox One with Xbox Game Preview. Releasing just in time for some Christmas shenanigans, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds features battle royale gameplay in expansive environments. While its success on PC is undeniable, the title is expected to find greater success as it parachutes onto consoles first on the Xbox One.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch – December 1
Marking off the end of the Nintendo Switch’s first calendar year is the latest title in the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise, Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The franchise known for its open-world settings and high quality makes the jump to Nintendo’s hotcake console just in time for Christmas. With high quality releases throughout its first year, the Nintendo Switch is shaping up to have one of the best first years in terms of exclusive titles as Xenoblade Chronicles 2 caps it off.
