Outriders Gear Mods and Legendary Items

One of the most highly anticipated aspects of Outriders comes in its overwhelming customization options. Not only will each class have over 70 perks to unlock and re-spec for free, but weapons and armor can all be modified with a staggering list of mods to fine tune your builds as you see fit. These are so much more than buffs to damage but instead will grant you access to powers from other classes, summon anomaly energy to deal extra AOE damage, or even make an enemies bones explode from within. With much exhaustive work behind us, we’ve put together a list of all known weapon and armor mods so far, as well as a brief glance at some of the game’s upcoming Legendary gear and what it has in store for you. Please note that some of the mods listed below are based on earlier builds of the game and may have been changed since then. Some of these mods will include specific numbers for damage output, but these numbers will change based on your build and level.

SLOTTING MODS

Slotting mods into your weapon is easy, but there are some restrictions. Any weapons with a Blue rarity (Rare) can only hold one mod. Purple (Epic) and Gold (Legendary) gear can each hold two, however Legendary gear comes with its own dedicated, highly powerful mod which makes up Tier 3. Any piece of gear or weapon with two mods attached can only have one mod replaced while the other will be locked to encourage farming and grinding for the rolls you want.

Zahedi will not only disassemble your gear to learn mods and place new onesr, but you can pay him to increase the rarity of your gear. This means that theoretically you can take any weapon or piece of armor through the game, but it will cost a lot of resources, so be sure you really want it. It’s also worth noting that even Legendary gear can be dismantled to learn the games most powerful mods, so don’t be afraid to let Zahedi take them apart to bolster your arsenal.

MOD TIERS

There are three tiers of mods in Outriders. Tier 1 is the most common to discover and generally the lowest damage output. Tier 2 packs a substantially stronger punch, but is definitely harder to find. Tier 3 mods, however, are made up entirely of the most powerful mods which can only be found by dismantling legendary gear. Previously on this list the mods attached to legendary gear were kept separate from the main list, as it had yet to be revealed that these mods could be dismantled and added to the pool. You’ll now find these mods not only in the Legendary Gear section, but also included in the full list of mods.

1 – Critical Point: Increases the chance of scoring a critical shot by 15%

2 – Brain-Eater: Critical shots do not consume ammo.

2 – Critstack: Up to 5 critical shots build up a 20 second stacking effect that grants you 652 Anomaly Power and 652 Firepower bonuses.

2 – Damage Absorber: Increase your armor by 2111 and Resistance by 10%

2 – Icebreaker: Killing shots against frozen enemies make them explode dealing 2755 damage.

2 – Improved Ashen Bullets: Successful shots inflict Ash on enemies. Cooldown of 4 seconds.

2 – Improved Vulnerability Bullets: Shots inflict Vulnerability on enemies. Cooldown of 4 seconds.

2 – Resistance Breaker: Shots decrease your targets Resistance by 35% for 6 seconds.

1 – Armor Reduction: Blighted Turret: The turret reduces the Armor of each enemy it hits by 20%. Effect lasts for 5 seconds.

1 – Bang for your Buck: Tool of Destruction: Activating the skill grants a 100% base ammo increase for the selected tool.

1 – Better Parts: Blighted Turret: Increases the turrets duration by 50%

1 – Feedback: Tool of Destruction: 3% of the damage dealt using the minigun heals you after the ability ends.

1 – Ice Component: Blighted Turret: The turret now inflicts Freeze instead of Toxic

1 – Increased Range: Pain Launcher: Increases the skills range by 167%

1 – Knockwave: Blighted Turret: The turret creates an explosion when deployed, dealing 664 damage to enemies within a 6 meter radius.

1 – Mr. Fixit: Fixing Wave: Using the skill grants Armor and 30% Resistance bonuses for 5 seconds.

1 – Painful Chill: Cold Snap: Applies extra damage to all enemies affected by the skill.

1 – Portable Armor: Tool of Destruction: You can fire 1 additional rocket.

2 – Bloodlust: Killing enemies with a weapon increases your Firepower by 401. Stacks up to 3 times and deteriorates every 30 seconds.

2 – Extra Bullet: Increase your magazine size by 10%

2 – Fresh Mag: Reloading increases your Firepower by 459 for 10 seconds

2 – Toxic Piercer: The effectiveness of Toxic is increase by 29% the bonus is equal to 100% of your Armor Piercing

2 – No Resistance Against the Fortified: Increases your Resistance Piercing by 25% of your Armor Piercing value.

2 – Plate Piercer: Increases your Critical Damage by 14.6% the bonus is equal to 50% of your Armor Piercing

2 – Rejuvenation: Receive 360 Firepower, 288 Anomaly Power, and 757 Armor bonus for 8 seconds whenever your health is replenished.

2 – Resistance Breaker: Shots decrease your targets Resistance by 35% for 6 seconds.

3 – Ravenous Locust: Shots create a swarm of locusts, dealing 475,685 damage over 15 seconds and inflicting Weakness to enemies remaining within a 6 meter radius of the target. Cooldown of 2 seconds.

2 – Brain-Eater: Critical shots do not consume ammo.

 

(Thunderbird – Assault Rifle)

3 – Ultimate Storm Whip: Shots bring down lightning on an enemy dealing 138 damage.

2 – Striga: 30% of Critical Damage is returned to you as health.

1 – Delivery On Time – Slow Trap: Activating the skill replenishes ammo for the current weapon of all allies in range.

1 – Stare Into the Barrel – Grants a moderate Firepower increase for each enemy in Close Range.

1 – Kingslayer: Killing an Elite enemy grants a powerful Firepower boost.

2 – Aura of Force: Killing enemies with critical shots grants 1479 Anomaly Power to you and your allies for 30 seconds.

2 – Bullet Recycling: Reloading a weapon when your Shield is active disables ammo consumption for 5 seconds.

2 – Bloody Boost: Grants a damage bonus against enemies afflicted with bleed.

2 – Buckshot Shells: Shotgun damage is increased by 30%

2 – Bullet Recycling: When a shield is active, ammo is automatically replenished in your mag

2 – Circle of Power: Receive a 10% Resistance bonus every time you use an ability. Stacks up to 3 times.

2 – Perseverance Munitions: Whenever your Health drops below 30% increase your Firepower by 1775 for 5 seconds.

1 – Stare Into the Barrel – Grants a moderate Firepower increase for each enemy in Close Range.

(Trespasser’s Cowl – TRICKSTER – Headgear)

1 – Delivery On Time – Slow Trap: Activating the skill replenishes ammo for the current weapon of all allies in range.

2 – Pain Transfer – Time Rift: Damage dealt to one affected enemy will be transferred to another affected enemy.
