As the inevitable next generation of consoles loom ahead of us, September 2020 brings about another fresh batch of new releases. Alongside remakes and remasters are yearly iterations and new games galore, with pretty much something for everyone. Without further ado, lets take a look at the top releases coming in September 2020.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 – PC, PS4, X1 – Sept 4
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is a remaster of the first two Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games, combining songs, locations, and tricks across the different games. For those who had the pleasure of playing the original games, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 looks to play similarly to the originals. Although some more technically sound skateboarding games have since been released, there was just something magical with the Pro Skater games that we hope the remaster has recaptured.
Mafia: Definitive Edition – PC, PS4, X1 – Sept 25
A full remake from the ground up, Mafia: Definitive Edition is finally releasing after a short delay. An open-world game taking place in the city of Lost Heaven, Mafia: Definitive Edition separates itself from other games in the genre with its strong narrative and lived-in open world. While the game is not a 100 hour, gigantic game, it is a contained, solid experience worth trying out.
