Marvel’s Avengers Priced at $3.99 Before Delisting

Marvel’s Avengers on Sale for $3.99 Until September 26th Before Being Removed From Storefronts

Marvel’s Avengers is undergoing a massive price slash as it faces delisting this month. The game’s Definitive Edition, encompassing all expansions, heroes, and outfits, is currently up for grabs at incredibly low prices. On Steam, it’s just $3.99 or £2.99, while Xbox users (with Gold subscriptions) and PlayStation Store shoppers can also snag it for $3.99 or £4.49.

Crystal Dynamics had previously signalled the end of their support for Marvel’s Avengers, releasing their final update on March 31. Consequently, the game will vanish from digital stores on September 30, rendering it unobtainable.

In a January statement, Crystal Dynamics conveyed its gratitude to the community but affirmed no further content additions. Nonetheless, gameplay, both solo and multiplayer, will endure post-official support cessation.

Crystal Dynamics, once a Square Enix subsidiary, is now part of the Embracer Group. They’re diligently crafting the forthcoming Tomb Raider game, slated for release by Amazon Games.

Embracer Group CEO Lars Wingefors had originally outlined ambitious plans for Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal, envisioning five triple-A games by March 31, 2028. Yet, recent revelations about a “restructuring program” at Embracer have sparked uncertainties, with potential studio closures and project cancellations looming. The fate of Crystal Dynamics’ planned ventures hangs in the balance.

Above all, Marvel’s Avengers has built a large community since its release. We’re sad to see it go but really appreciate this amazing 90% off deal. Get it while you can before it’s too late.
