Back 4 Blood – Oct 12
One of the most anticipated titles of the year, Back 4 Blood, evokes feelings of nostalgia, and for good reason. The developers, Turtle Rock Studios, are also responsible for the classic Left 4 Dead series. While the gaming landscape may have shifted since then, Back 4 Blood will have us chasing those frantic multiplayer evenings yet again.
Guardians of the Galaxy – Oct 26
While we might be accustomed to the MCU cast of Guardians of the Galaxy, the Eidos-Montréal version features a less-than-familiar one. While the trailers indicate a relatively similar level of humor and action that we are used to, it still might take some time to feel normal. Despite being a franchise that revolves around a team, this game puts players into the role of Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, and we are looking forward to seeing how that works out.
Far Cry 6 – Oct 7
Far Cry is back at it with Far Cry 6, this time set in a fictional Caribbean island. Perhaps the biggest selling point to mainstream gamers is the inclusion of Giancarlo Esposito (of Breaking Bad fame, and much more) as the dictator who rules over the island. We all know what Far Cry brings to the table, and that is definitely not a bad thing this time around.
