Top 10 Video Games Arriving in November 2020

Sackboy: A Big Adventure – PS5 – Nov 12

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is the next installment into the LittleBigPlanet series, developed by the same developers behind LittleBigPlanet 3, Sumo Digital. While previous iterations of LittleBigPlanet have historically been 2.5D affairs, Sackboy: A Big Adventure features 3D movement and a new perspective. It’s definitely a fresh look for the series, which had become a bit repetitive in nature over the years. With up to four players at a time, Sackboy: A Big Adventure could be the PS5’s hit multiplayer title over the holidays.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – PC, PS4, PS5, X1, XSX – Nov 13

It can’t be a holiday season for video games without everybody’s favourite FPS series, Call of Duty. Acting as a sequel to 2010’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is definitely a mouthful in comparison. As you might have expected, the game features a campaign mode, multiplayer, and zombies. The game will also be integrated with the battle royale mode, Warzone, allowing progression to carry over between the two. While the Call of Duty games generally are very similar, we’re still looking forward to taking the fight online, especially on the next generation of games.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales – PS4, PS5 – Nov 12

As perhaps THE launch title for the PS5 (while still appearing on the PS4), Spider-Man: Miles Morales will likely be the system’s best seller during the launch period. Being more accessible than Demon’s Souls while simultaneously being an extremely popular intellectual property, Spider-Man: Miles Morales looks to shift the focus away from the first game’s protagonist toward Miles Morales. Miles Morales has been gaining popularity in recent years, with his appearance in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse propelling him into mainstream popularity. Although expectations should be tempered, given the game’s status as a shorter, standalone experience (akin to that of Uncharted: Lost Legacy), it is hard to contain our excitement as we get to experience more of this blossoming video game series.
