Demon’s Souls – PS5 – Nov 12

One of the PS5’s big launch titles is the Bluepoint developed remake of Demon’s Souls. If the game sounds familiar, it is the challenging PS3 cult classic that preceded FromSoftware’s Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Bluepoint Games has been honing their craft over the years with various remasters before fully remaking Shadow of the Colossus, and now Demon’s Souls. This challenging title is sure to be a hit with the “SoulsBorne” faithful, and could help to usher in a new generation of fans, as their gameplay trailers have stunned so far.

The Pathless – PC, PS4, PS5 – Nov 12

A smaller title launching alongside the PS5, The Pathless is an action adventure title in which you play as a hunter looking to lift the curse from an island. This open-world game is unique in that it doesn’t utilize a mini-map. Also of note from what we’ve seen so far, is that the game relies heavily on fluid movement and a sense of exploration akin to that of Journey. We are definitely looking forward to The Pathless, as it seems to be an ideal game to sit back and relax with… maybe.
