3 – Peppy Hare
Peppy may not be a leveret, but with age comes experience. That’s why the Lylat Wars veteran has been able to teach countless players how to do a barrel roll over the years. When he’s not creating memes, he can be found giving advice to the current Star Fox team. While his active duty days are over, one can’t overlook the importance of his past, as he founded Star Fox alongside James McCloud and Pigma Dengar.
2 – Rabbids
Few video game rabbits have found the success that Ubisoft’s Rabbids have, as the series has sold over 14 million copies and even spawned an animated television show that aired on Nickelodeon. These goofball rabbits originally appeared as part of Rayman’s Wii debut, but their wacky antics proved popular enough to become their own thing. The Rabbids have a Minions-like charm and can be found on any new platform that Ubisoft can think up some mini-games for.
1 – Zero III
The antagonist of Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward, Zero III quickly gets under the player’s skin despite being portrayed as an adorable rabbit. This is due to the mocking tone the artificial intelligence uses, and its habit of using the worst rabbit puns possible. Despite these puns, there is a certain likable aspect to the character, and he ultimately serves an important purpose in Zero Escape’s complex narrative.
