In Warzone, the Verdansk we know ends and we’re drawn back in time to 1984 where the battle between the CIA and Perseus heats up. There’s a ton of changes and content coming to both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, so we’re here to break down the top 10 reasons why Season 3 could be the best yet!

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Warzone - Season 3

10.) Hunt for Adler

Season 3 kicks off with a limited-time event called “Hunt for Adler” where players will complete in-game challenges in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War with the goal of finding Russell Adler. Completing this event will net players with some sweet swag and a badass Adler skin. If you sleep on this event, you miss out. It’s a once in a lifetime experience and should create for some memorable Call of Duty moments.

9.) 100 More Tiers of Content

Just like the previous two Black Ops Cold War seasons, Season 3 brings gamers a brand new, 100 tier Battle Pass with content ranging from new blueprints, weapon skins, operator skins, mix tapes, and operators. As usual, the grind for all 100 tiers is brutal and takes a fair amount of commitment – but the dedicated will be rewarded.

8.) Fresh Zombies Content

Last season, we were introduced to Outbreak, a vastly superior zombies experience that is far more accessible to players. This season will introduce a brand new Outbreak area set in the Ural Mountains. There will be new vehicles, world events, and even a new field upgrade; Toxic Growth, which causes enemies’ movement to slow while they suffer toxic damage within a targeted area.

7.) New Operators

Season 3 brings 4 operators to the fight; 3 brand new operators plus one fan favourite. Joining the Warsaw Pact is Wraith, Knight, and Antonov. Wraith is a cold-blooded femme fatale and Stitch’s right hand. Knight is a brutal former MI6 agent with a mean streak. We’ll be introduced to both at the start of the season as they infiltrate Mount Yamantau under the direction of Stitch. Antonov, who will be introduced mid-season, is an ex-hitman with a criminal past. Finally we’ll see the return of Captain Price, a fan favourite from Modern Warfare – everyone who owns Black Ops Cold War will get Captain Price, free of charge.

6.) More Bang For Your Buck

The sixth reason to jump into Season 3 is the six new weapons you’ll be able to use to dispose of your enemies. Included will be the PPSh-41 (SMG), Swiss K31 (sniper rifle), CARV.2 (tactical rifle), AMP63 (pistol), Baseball Bat (melee) and the beloved Ballistic Knife (melee). There’s a little something here for all styles of play. These weapons will be available at various times throughout the season.
