The remake that no one asked for, Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered made its return in time for Halloween last month. While Ghostbusters is a solid franchise, the game is marred by bad cutscenes, animations, and bugs. In our review, we noted that “you’re constantly reminded that you’re playing a game that’s a decade old.”
WWE 2K20

The WWE games have existed for a long, long time. You would think that they would improve from year to year, learning from mistakes and making improvements. Perhaps it was a mistake to move on from longtime 2K developer Yuke’s, as WWE 2K20 is filled with bugs, graphical issues, and missing content. While the game hopefully receives some good updates, we noted in our review that we “hope that this is a wake-up call to 2K games that they need to release a polished product.”
Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip

Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip lives up to its expectations as a movie tie-in game, and not in a good way. While the cast of the movie and the movies themselves are just fine, the game certainly does not compare. It is noted in our review that “Road Trip is tired even as it boots up. So much so that most of the dialogue given to Tallahassee is that phrase that has been worn out for a full decade.”
Honorary Mention
Overwatch – Switch

By most accounts, Overwatch is still a great game which is why this is merely an honorary mention, but how does it hold up on the Nintendo Switch? Despite being a good game, Overwatch on the Switch is limited by its hardware, and suffers overall due to its performance. In our review, we stated that “the core experience remains compelling and the new portability and motion controls are nice additions, but the trade-offs are just too significant.”
