The Most Anticipated Games of 2019 for Xbox One

2018 was a challenging year for Xbox One. Sure, it had some stellar multiplatform games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Far Cry 5. But it delivered only a handful of exclusives worth mentioning, such as the incredible Forza Horizon 4, the multiplayer-centric Sea of Thieves, and the “not-as-good-as-the-first” State of Decay 2. However, we can’t just sit around dwelling on the past – 2019 is just around the corner, and it’s time to start taking a look at some of the games Xbox One players will be soon enjoying.

Crackdown 3

First, let’s take a look at some of the exciting new multiplatform games.

Anthem

Anthem, the brand new action-RPG franchise from EA featuring a vast shared-world is nearly here. Players will outfit their Freelancers with a variety of Javelin exosuits – each with their own unique abilities and weapons – as they explore the wilds beyond the wall. Developed by Bioware, this one has the potential to be a massive 2019 hit.

Atlas

Developed by the same team that developed ARK: Survival Evolved comes ATLAS. This MMO, featuring both first-person and third-person perspectives, takes the pirate genre to the extreme. Up to 40,000 players will be exploring the same massive globe, simultaneously! This one could be the must-play MMO of 2019.

Devil May Cry 5

Taking place after the events of Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 5 allows players to step into the shoes of three different heroes; Nero, V, and franchise poster-boy, Dante. Featuring the over-the-top, hack and slash gameplay that’s become a staple for the series, this is one sequel that fans will be dying to get their hands on.

Far Cry New Dawn

Far Cry New Dawn takes players back to Hope County, 17 years after the events of Far Cry 5. New Dawn promises to provide players with all the great action that Far Cry 5 provided, while still offering a fresh new take on Hope County. Plus we imagine there will be some familiar faces populating this sequel.
