5 of the Very Best Moments From the Bethesda E3 Press Conference

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider

The Knife of Dunwall was some of the best DLC released to date, and it looks like Arkane just might follow it up with their new add-on Death of the Outsider. As usual, we’ve only got a cinematic trailer to make guesses from, but Arkane has yet to disappoint. With a fall release of September 15th, be sure to keep this one on your radar. I wouldn’t be shocked to see a big Dishonored 2 sale along with the launch as well.

Creation Club for Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE

Many fans are not excited about paying for mods, but frankly, it looks like Bethesda may have actually taken the time to iron out the details and do it right this time. The fact that curated mods won’t stop you from unlocking achievements/trophies but will also be quality controlled for bugs and content means that players will finally be able to play games like Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE while maintaining the overall vision that Bethesda intended. As for now, we’ll simply have to wait and see what kind of price points there will be, and just how much of a cut the content creators are going to get. Still, I’m hopeful.

Doom VFR/Fallout 4 VR

It might not seem like a huge deal, but with Bethesda helping companies spearhead the VR movement, consumers are finally going to get more AAA VR games. Currently, the selection of truly great VR titles is a bit limited, and this could potentially make sure that standards are kept to the height that Resident Evil set them at. This also means that moving forward, we’re likely to see more and more big games coming out with VR as not only an option but a recommendation for the best possible experience. At the very least, VR is now truly being cemented as a serious part of gaming.

There’s a lot yet to come at from E3 2017 so make sure to stay tuned to COGconnected for all of your news and updates.
