The Worst
Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn

While no one was really expecting a Shaq-Fu sequel, we got one anyway with Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn. The title is a take on the beat-em-up styled genre, featuring humor and self-awareness as some of its best portions. Overall though, the humor was immature, the controls were poor, and the hitboxes were terrible. Unfortunately, in our review we found that “if you do not find the attempted humor offensive or off-putting, the core game itself is simply lacking.”
LEGO The Incredibles

With a title such as The Incredibles, how could you go wrong? With the LEGO video game formula being consistent, being paired along with a beloved franchise such as The Incredibles seemed to be a recipe for success. However, we found that it was repetitive, dull, and had a lackluster design, and noted that “LEGO The Incredibles simply does not meet up to the expectations its predecessors have set.”
The Crew 2

The Crew 2 is by no means a bad game; however, the title simply did not live up to expectations given Ubisoft’s track record as of late. While The Crew 2 features a lot of vehicles that look and sound great, the open-world lacked personality, the voice-acting is bad, and there was a variety of AI issues and general lack of polish. In our review, we noted that “it seems the developers tried to pack too much into the game, and while it feels strongest as an arcade racer, Ivory Tower could have trimmed the fat and made the game so much better.”
