The 3 Best and 3 Worst Games From November 2016

3 Up, 3 Down November 2016 Edition

The year is coming to a close and starting tonight, at The Game Awards, we will all be inundated with everyone’s pick for game of the year. Uncharted 4 will certainly be on many short lists and without question will win many of those GOTY awards but what about Titanfall 2? Despite poor sales Titanfall 2 scored well and certainly surpassed our expectations. Likewise, EA hit another home run with Battlefield 1. So you could make an easy GOTY argument for DICE’s superb shooter. Whatever game comes out on top the fact remains 2016 has been a good year for the industry. There have been no shortage of amazing games and November didn’t disappoint. Without further delay, lets get to the best and worst games from the previous month.

The Best

Pokémon Sun and Moon

Pokémon Sun and Moon are easily a couple of the best entries in the franchise to date. The world is just so incredibly immersive and quite easily shattered many fans expectations. Pokémon, as a brand, is in excellent shape and Pokémon Sun and Moon is further evidence that the series is as strong as ever. If you are even remotely interested in playing a Pokémon on your 3DS don’t even think twice about picking up a copy. Hands down, its our best game(s) of the month.

Pokemon Sun Moon HERO 2

Tyranny

Shifting gears from the 3DS to PC, Tyranny comes in as one of our best games from November 2016. Tyranny is about as good as an RPG gets and is a powerful achievement. We consider the game an absolute must for players who loved Pillars of Eternity and for those who seek a rich, engaging tale of how people act in difficult circumstances. If you are looking to play a memorable RPG this holiday season, look no further.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

I can already hear the collective groan. I get it, you’re all tired of the franchise and just want it to go away. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is without question everyone’s most hated 2016  game. Which is unfortunate because Infinite Warfare, on its own, is a rock solid entry into the franchise. Sure, it doesn’t reinvent the CoD formula but it brings back everything fans love about the game. In many ways, it is more of the same but if you are looking for a game that contains an exhilarating single player campaign, a frantically deep multiplayer experience and one of the most memorable zombie games you’ll ever play, Infinite Warfare is a no-brainer kids.
