7 – Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (PS4, PS3)

With Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2.5 Remix released in the past, it’s only about time that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue was to be released. This next package includes three new sequences you can play and watch through – first, the main attraction would be the full HD remaster for Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance that was only available on the Nintendo 3DS. It’s quite a significant addition given that now 3DS and, soon enough, PS4 fans will have the opportunity to play Kingdom Hearts 3D. Second, Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep is a new playable episode depicting the events between Birth by Sleep and the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III. Lastly is the watchable HD movie, Kingdom Hearts x[chi] Back Cover, that connects the “earliest parts of the series’ history” as stated on the game’s description. I can only assume that after this final HD package we’ll be getting to experience Kingdom Hearts III.
6/5 – Dragon Quest VII & VIII (3DS)
Release Date: 2016
While this might come as a little shock to most, but Dragon Quest VII and Dragon Quest VIII are technically getting a remake…for the 3DS that is. VII was originally released on the PS1 back in 2000 while VIII was released in 2005 on the PS2. Although I’m not here argue about whether VII will look better on the 3DS than PS1, or even VIII on the 3DS than the PS2, I’m merely here to celebrate that it’s coming to a modern console for more people to experience. 
4 – Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4)
Release Date: February 9th 2016
Gravity Rush, like Tearaway, was initially a PS Vita exclusive until it was announced that it was headed onto the PS4 as Gravity Rush Remastered. They both did great on the PS Vita, but unfortunately the PS Vita console itself just didn’t get enough support for solid sales. It doesn’t mean it doesn’t have some great gems like Gravity Rush, Tearaway and other games that sell the PS Vita. With its soon-to-come release on the PS4, Gravity Rush will also be bundled with its additionally released DLC in-game so you get the full experience.
