Embark On an Epic Journey in Handmancers
Rock-Paper-Scissors is getting a serious upgrade, and Handmancers is ready to take things to the next level. Developer 58BLADES and publisher Human Qube Games have announced that the first-person roguelite deckbuilder will officially leave Early Access and launch its full 1.0 version on Steam on November 12, 2026.
Instead of simply relying on luck to win Rock-Paper-Scissors matches, Handmancers turns the familiar game into a tactical battle where every move matters. Players must build powerful card combinations, outsmart increasingly dangerous opponents, and find the right strategy to survive each run. Gems, powerful Artifacts, and the Corruption system add even more possibilities for experimenting with different builds.
The 1.0 update is bringing plenty of new content to the table, including a brand-new playable class, fresh encounters, additional Artifacts, and new gameplay mechanics. The developers are also reworking the Corruption Delving system, giving players more reasons to explore its endgame challenges through varied content and run modifiers.
Another major change comes to meta-progression, which has been rebuilt from scratch to give players greater control over their long-term decisions. The update will also include several balance adjustments and gameplay improvements based on feedback from the Early Access community.
Since arriving in Early Access in May, Handmancers has continued to grow, with player feedback helping shape its development. The upcoming 1.0 release will finally bring the originally promised roadmap to completion.
With a new class, revamped progression, and plenty of fresh challenges on the way, Handmancers has a lot more up its sleeve than your usual game of Rock-Paper-Scissors. November 12 should be an interesting day for fans of roguelite deckbuilders.
