Explore an Alien World From the Skies in ATMOSFAR
Apog Labs and Shueisha Games have released a new gameplay overview trailer for ATMOSFAR ahead of its Steam Early Access launch on October 29. The developers also revealed that the sci-fi survival adventure has reached 400,000 wishlists on Steam, gaining 100,000 in just the past week.
The latest trailer offers a closer look at Tycos, a remote alien planet filled with unexplored skies, dangerous weather, and extraordinary wildlife. Players will embark on an adventure to uncover the fate of humanity’s furthest outpost while managing resources and building their own mobile bases.
“We’re so incredibly grateful to the ATMOSFAR community for helping us reach another fantastic milestone as we prepare all systems for launch,” said Olof Kindblad, Head of Studio at Apog Labs, ahead of the upcoming release.
In ATMOSFAR, players can explore Tycos alone or team up with friends in online co-op for two to four players. The game features several flying vessels designed for different tasks, including the Utility Wasp for setting up camps, the Hauler Wasp for transporting heavy scrap, and the Fighter Wasp for fast aerial travel. Players can also take command of the Cloud Cruiser, a massive mobile airbase that they can fully customize.
Beyond exploring the skies, players must venture across diverse biomes, discover new technologies, and survive extreme weather conditions ranging from powerful jetstreams to turbulent thunderstorms. Unfamiliar flora and fauna add further challenges to the journey.
With 400,000 wishlists and launch just around the corner, ATMOSFAR is already generating plenty of interest. Players can add the game to their Steam wishlist now and prepare to take flight when Early Access begins on October 29.
