ATMOSFAR Takes Flight at Steam Next Fest With First Playable Demo

Start Exploring Caligo Cays in ATMOSFAR

Apog Labs and Shueisha Games are inviting players to dive into the skies of a vast alien world as ATMOSFAR launches its first playable demo during Steam Next Fest. This sci-fi survival adventure invites players to explore the opening hours of the game and experience its unique blend of aerial exploration and survival gameplay.

The demo drops players into Caligo Cays, a sprawling archipelago of gravity-defying islands suspended high above an alien planet. Players soar across drifting landmasses, navigate treacherous terrain, and begin building their first outpost in an uncharted world. From cruising above the clouds to carefully landing on unstable surfaces, every journey tests skill and strategy.

Survival depends on adapting to extreme conditions, including the deadly Firesky phenomenon. As an astronomical pioneer, players must study alien flora and fauna while managing the many hazards that come with exploring an unfamiliar ecosystem. Piloting the versatile Utility Wasp, players scavenge scrap, deploy camps, gather resources, and unlock tools essential for long-term survival.

Set to launch in Steam Early Access later this year, ATMOSFAR blends story-driven survival sandbox mechanics with mobile base-building, resource management, gear upgrades, and ground expeditions. Players can tackle the adventure solo or team up in 2–4 player co-op to establish humanity’s most distant outpost. All while uncovering the mystery behind a fallen colony.

The Steam Next Fest demo is available now, and players can wishlist ATMOSFAR on Steam to follow its journey toward Early Access.
