Defeat All Bosses in BAKUDO
Tokyo-based publisher Shueisha Games has teamed up with Taiwanese developer SAYIL GAMES to announce their upcoming title, BAKUDO. It is a new sci-fi boss rush combat sports game. Unveiled at The MIX Summer Game Showcase 2025, the game has officially launched its Steam page and is now available to wishlist. BAKUDO blends high-speed action with futuristic ball sport mechanics, offering a unique take on boss battles. Players take on the role of Yuria, a determined student at an elite academy that trains youth in the art of BAKUDO, a popular and physically demanding combat sport. As she searches for her missing father, Yuria must navigate the school’s mysteries while building strong bonds with her peers.
At the heart of the game lies a series of intense encounters against the academy’s elite fighters. They are also known as the Eight Stars. Using a fast-paced combat system built around dynamic ball-throwing techniques, players must study their enemies, anticipate moves, and exploit openings to emerge victorious.
With its mix of sci-fi school life, stylized visuals, and real-time strategic gameplay, BAKUDO aims to deliver a fresh and exhilarating experience. The game will support multiple languages at launch, including English, French, Spanish, German, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
