Enter the Magical World of Stormforge
Fantasy survival crafting fans can now get an early look at Stormforge, as developer Roboto Games has released the public demo for its upcoming open-world survival crafting game on Steam. The demo gives players a chance to explore the game and experience its core survival mechanics ahead of its Early Access launch later this year.

Set in a world consumed by powerful magical storms, Stormforge combines survival, crafting, exploration, and cooperative multiplayer. Players will have to adapt to different types of storms, each bringing its own hazards and gameplay challenges. Tornadoes can send rocks, trees, and enemies flying, while dust storms can make it difficult to see and gradually damage players. However, these dangerous areas also contain valuable resources and powerful creatures.
The demo features character creation with three classes: Warrior, Mage, and Ranger. Players can explore the Meadows biome alone or with up to eight players before venturing into a forest filled with poison-infused storms. The demo also includes a boss encounter, the first dungeons in the forest biome, and early looks at the game’s building, gliding, and sailing systems.
Additionally, the demo arrived just in time for Steam’s PvE Survival Crafting Fest, which runs from August 31 to September 7, giving players a good opportunity to try out Stormforge while the genre takes the spotlight on Steam.
With its mix of dangerous weather, exploration, crafting, and cooperative survival, Stormforge looks like an interesting title to keep an eye on as it heads toward Early Access later this year.
