Nether Spirits Debuts Gameplay Trailer and Public Demo at OTK Winter Expo

Enter the Corrupted Realm of Nether Spirits

Spellfusion introduced Nether Spirits: Beyond the Gate at the OTK Winter Expo with its first full gameplay trailer and a newly released public co-op demo. The reveal presents a dark afterlife shaped through a blend of deck building, roguelite structure, and cooperative multiplayer. The showcase sets the tone for an experience that mixes strategy with constant motion, inviting players into a corrupted world built on choice, timing, and evolving encounters.

Nether Spirits begins with each player reborn in the domain known as the Nether, a shifting realm marked by conflict and temptation. Seven playable classes form the heart of the game’s progression. Each class draws inspiration from a classic theme built around a deadly sin, giving every option a distinct playstyle supported by its own pool of cards and combat tricks. You can enjoy the adventure alone or with friends through a seamless drop-in and drop-out system. This feature allows groups to form naturally during a run. Competitive players can enter structured 1v1 or 2v2 modes where timing, builds, and coordination influence every battle. This variety keeps each session fresh while reinforcing the game’s emphasis on player-driven tactics.

Combat relies on the Timeline System, which allows moves to be queued and linked in real time. Players can adjust their plans during a fight as new opportunities appear, creating a flow that rewards careful preparation and quick reactions. Strong combinations emerge from chaining actions together, giving every encounter a growing sense of momentum.

The co-op demo is now available on Steam, offering an early opportunity to explore the Nether. Go ahead, experiment with class abilities, and take part in both co-operative and competitive modes. Also, make sure to share your feedback with the developers to further refine the game.
