Reach New Heights in FLING UP TOGETHER
One rope. Two players. Zero room for mistakes. FLING UP TOGETHER turns platforming into a chaotic test of teamwork, timing, and trust. OFF BOX Studios has released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming 2-player co-op physics platformer, giving players a closer look at the unusual rope-based gameplay. A free demo is also available now on Steam, so fans can jump in and see how long their friendship survives.
The game ties two players together with a single rope as they attempt to climb through a vertical world filled with sky islands, floating ruins, and enormous bridges. There’s no climbing your way through these areas alone, and one badly timed move can send both players tumbling down and erase their progress.
The rope is the key to everything. Players can pull their partner across gaps, launch them toward distant platforms, or catch them during a desperate mid-air fall. Since either player can pull at any moment, every move could lead to a clutch save—or a spectacular disaster.
Things get even trickier with colour-coded platforms. Each player can only stand on platforms matching their colour, forcing teammates to create routes and physically haul each other across dangerous sections. That combination should make every session unpredictable, with plenty of frantic communication, hilarious mistakes, and inevitable finger-pointing.
With its free demo now live, FLING UP TOGETHER looks like a promising pick for anyone who enjoys chaotic co-op games. Just remember: when you fall, you’re taking your partner with you.
