Chrono Odyssey Shows off Brutal Boss Fight in New Uncut Gameplay Video

Witness the Boss Fight of Chrono Odyssey

Chrono Odyssey is finally back with a fresh look at its gameplay, and Kakao Games and Chrono Studio are giving players something more substantial than another cinematic trailer. The developers have released a new, unedited gameplay video showcasing a solo boss fight against Miragin, a previously unseen Chrono Gate boss, from the game’s current development build.

The footage introduces Paladin, a new class that wields a spear and shield. Players can see the class chaining spear attacks, summoning a massive spear to strike enemies, and using its shield to block incoming damage. The encounter also highlights two important Chronotector abilities: Replicate and Isolation.

Replicate allows players to temporarily recreate combat skills from previously defeated bosses, turning their abilities against other enemies. Meanwhile, Isolation freezes an enemy in time for a limited period, restricting its movement and creating opportunities for follow-up attacks. Together, these abilities showcase how time manipulation can add another strategic layer to Chrono Odyssey’s combat.

“We didn’t want to come back with just another trailer. We wanted to come back with the game,” said Kwon, Executive Producer, Chrono Studio. “Chrono Gates are where Chrono Odyssey asks the most of you, so it felt right to let one fight speak for where we are. There’s a lot more to show, and we look forward to sharing more with players in the months ahead.”

The developers have also confirmed that more updates are planned for 2027, suggesting this gameplay reveal is just the beginning of their return. Players can wishlist Chrono Odyssey on Steam and follow its official channels for future announcements.

After months without a fresh gameplay update, this uncut encounter offers an encouraging glimpse of the game’s progress, and there’s plenty more to look forward to.
