Spiritstead Brings Cozy City-Building Adventure to Steam on 6 August 2026

Build a Peaceful Village in Spiritstead

Turbo Dog Games has officially confirmed that its debut title, Spiritstead, will launch on Steam for PC on August 6, 2026. Backed by WINGS, the cozy city-building game invites players to create a peaceful village alongside a cast of charming magical spirits. It will be available for $9.99.

Spiritstead

In Spiritstead, players begin with just a handful of homes before gradually transforming an enchanted patch of land into a lively community. Villagers can take on different jobs, while players expand the settlement with cafés, markets, farms, bonfires, and other cozy locations. The game focuses on relaxing progression, encouraging players to build and decorate at their own pace without any pressure.

One of the game’s standout features is its magical spirit companions. Players can discover these unique spirits by exploring the world and uncovering hidden surprises. Each spirit has its own personality, appearance, and special abilities, allowing them to care for villagers. They will also automate daily tasks and help manage different parts of the growing village.

According to Diana from Turbo Dog Games, the team drew inspiration from the warmth and wonder of Hayao Miyazaki’s films. That influence shines through the game’s hand-drawn art style, cozy atmosphere, and whimsical cast of quirky spirits.

Spiritstead offers two distinct ways to play. Adventure Mode delivers around six to eight hours of relaxed city-building as players expand their settlement and restore the Grand Spirit Sanctuary. Meanwhile, Creative Mode removes objectives entirely, giving players complete freedom to build, decorate, and redesign their dream village.

With its charming visuals, laid-back gameplay, and magical helpers, Spiritstead looks set to be a delightful choice for players searching for a cozy city-building experience this summer.
