Abracademia Casts Its Spell With a New Steam Demo Today

Become a Competent Mage in Abracademia

Following its announcement earlier this year, Seele Games has released a brand-new demo for its upcoming mage life-sim, Abracademia, now live on Steam. The latest demo invites players into a charming, magical academy where they can begin shaping their journey as a young wizard.

The experience starts with full character creation, allowing players to design their own mage, from appearance to magical strengths and personality traits. Once enrolled, players will take entrance exams and be placed into a coven, opening the door to friendships, rivalries, and a cast of beautifully hand-drawn classmates.

The demo covers the first month of academy life, giving players a taste of daily routines, class attendance, and in-game events. Players have the freedom to shape their schedule, whether focusing on academics, social life, or a more mischievous path. Spellcasting also plays a key role, with access to 10 out of the game’s planned 20 magic disciplines, offering a solid introduction to its deeper systems.

Designed as an idle life-sim, Abracademia runs along the bottom of the screen, allowing players to progress while working, studying, or gaming. Replayability is a strong focus, with multiple ways to approach each playthrough depending on choices and priorities.

The full game promises a much larger experience, spanning five in-game years, over 300 spells, and various adventures leading up to graduation.

Overall, the demo offers a cozy and engaging glimpse into Abracademia, setting the stage for a deeper magical journey ahead.
