The Empires of the Indus expansion shifts the game’s setting to the diverse and influential civilizations of the Indian subcontinent. Players can guide powerful factions such as the Maurya Empire, known for its long-standing regional dominance, the Yuezhi, who later shaped the Kushan Empire, and the culturally vibrant Sangam kingdoms of Tamilakam. Each faction introduces distinct mechanics, specialized units, and unique buildings, offering varied strategies and playstyles.
