Thieves and Gold Announced by Rzvgames, Bringing Incremental Heist to Steam This Year

Prepare Your Heist in Thieves and Gold

RzvGames, the solo studio led by Razvan Moraru, has officially revealed Thieves and Gold, a single-player incremental heist game set to launch on Steam. The game places players in a desperate valley ruled by a greedy lord, where survival depends on running daring heists and escaping with as much treasure as possible.

In Thieves and Gold, players manage a crew of thieves operating out of a hidden cave. Each run throws them into tightly packed treasure rooms filled with furniture, crates, chests, and strongboxes ready to be smashed open. The idea is straightforward but intense: destroy everything in sight, collect valuable loot, and escape before time runs out or greed pushes things too far.

Progression plays a major role in the experience. Every successful heist contributes to long-term growth, allowing players to recruit new thieves, upgrade their abilities, and strengthen their crew. You can also send idle thieves on jobs around town, ensuring rewards continue even between active runs.

The game introduces four distinct thief roles that shape each heist. Breakers focus on destruction, Seekers help locate valuable targets, Collectors gather loot efficiently, and Support units boost overall performance. Players can assemble a team of up to four thieves and decide how best to use them.

There are also two gameplay modes. Heist Mode emphasizes risk and reward under pressure, while Casual Mode offers a more relaxed approach to looting and progression. A demo is planned for May 2026, with the full release expected in Q3 2026 at a budget-friendly price. So, go ahead and wishlist the game on Steam right now.
