Dyping Escape Has Finally Arrived on Steam Today

Feel the Horror Literally in Dyping Escape

Publisher PLAYISM has officially released Dyping Escape, a horror typing game developed by Heaviside Creations. The game launched for PC via Steam today and is available with a 10 percent discount for two weeks.

Dyping Escape expands on the concept introduced in its predecessor, DYPING, which previously gained more than 500,000 plays on the Japanese free game platform unityroom. The new release significantly builds on that foundation by adding a longer story, new gameplay mechanics, and a deeper horror experience designed to immerse players more fully in its unsettling world.

The premise places players inside a disturbing typing game controlled by a mysterious pair of floating eyeballs that act as the game’s master. Players must type exactly what the entity commands to progress. At first, the task appears simple, but the situation quickly becomes unsettling as players are forced to sign a questionable contract where whatever they type becomes reality.

As the game unfolds, players may find themselves executing commands they would normally avoid, including actions that appear to harm their own computer system. The experience gradually turns into a tense struggle as players watch events unfold on their screen with little control.

Despite the seemingly hopeless situation, a strange ally appears in the form of a cat awakened from an ancient game, offering a possible path toward escape.

The developers also warn that the game may display information from the player’s PC environment during gameplay. Anyone planning to stream or record the game should enable Streamer Mode to avoid potential privacy issues.
