Set in a quiet northern town, ChildStory unfolds during preparations for the Festival of the New Star. The entire community decorates the streets and celebrates the arrival of the event, which forms part of a mysterious cycle that repeats month after month. At the center of this story stands Sonya, a thoughtful and curious girl who finds herself searching for answers behind the town’s traditions.
Throughout the adventure, Sonya explores snowy streets and hidden corners while helping friends and meeting new characters along the way. Her journey involves solving puzzles, uncovering secrets, and confronting strange spirits that threaten the town. Each action gradually brings her closer to understanding the deeper mystery surrounding the festival and her place within it.
ChildStory combines isometric exploration with detailed pixel art that gives the small town a warm and lively atmosphere. Players can expect battles against spirits and bosses that challenge both reflexes and strategy, along with puzzles designed for curious explorers. The experience also features memorable characters and a soulful soundtrack that adds emotional depth to Sonya’s journey.
