Prepare to Meet the Scrap Daddies
Following the success of both its closed and open beta tests, Other Ocean has officially announced that Scrap Daddies will launch on Steam Early Access this Tuesday, July 20, priced at $9.99 USD.
Scrap Daddies is a chaotic, slapstick co-op looter built for one to six players, where survival depends on teamwork and quick thinking. Set in a world swallowed by the sea, the game sends players into flooded facilities to recover vital power cells and salvage valuable scrap. Each mission challenges crews to work together under pressure, hauling their hard-earned loot back to the surface to upgrade equipment and prepare for even greater dangers below.
Players begin their adventure in New Tortuga, a rough-and-tumble port that serves as a social hub and staging ground. From there, teams descend into the depths, battling bizarre and fearsome enemies while navigating hazardous environments filled with unpredictable physics and emergent chaos. Whether you’re coordinating carefully or barely holding things together, every run delivers unpredictable, laugh-out-loud moments.
As an Early Access title, Scrap Daddies will continue to grow and evolve based on community feedback. Other Ocean encourages players to share ideas, suggestions, and bug reports through the game’s Discord and Reddit communities, helping shape future updates and new content.
