Sign Up to Take Part in Shaping Scrap Daddies
Other Ocean has announced free beta dates for Scrap Daddies, giving players an early chance to jump into its colorful and fast-moving looter shooter action. The studio is inviting players to help test the game ahead of its Early Access launch, with sign-ups still open on Steam. Interested players can visit the Scrap Daddies Steam store page and request access to take part in the playtests.
The first phase begins with a Closed Beta running from January 9 to January 11. During this period, a selected group of players will be able to explore the game’s core systems, combat, and progression. Participants will find an in-game survey that focuses on what felt good, what could be improved, and which elements stood out the most. Other Ocean plans to use this feedback to fine-tune gameplay balance, pacing, and overall feel.
Following the Closed Beta, Scrap Daddies will move into an Open Beta from January 15 to January 18. This test will be available to everyone, allowing players to team up with friends and experience the game’s chaotic underwater battles, treasure hunting, and larger-scale encounters. Player feedback will once again play a key role as the developers continue shaping the experience.
Once the Open Beta wraps up, Other Ocean will shift its focus toward the full Early Access release. A launch date announcement is expected soon. Players who want to stay updated can wishlist Scrap Daddies on Steam to be ready when Early Access goes live.
