4 Penny Coffins Brings Its Detective Horror to Steam on 27 October

Prepare to Investigate in 4 Penny Coffins

Other Ocean has released the final trailer for 4 Penny Coffins, confirming that the horror investigation game will launch on Steam on October 27, just in time for Halloween. Players won’t have to wait until release to try it out, as a free demo will also be available during Steam Next Fest.

In 4 Penny Coffins, players find themselves caught in a deadly investigation involving The Ripper, a cunning villain possessed by a demon who hides behind a convincing disguise. The game puts players in the middle of a tense battle between detectives searching for evidence and a killer determined to cover their tracks.

While the detectives rely on forensic techniques to uncover the truth, The Ripper uses every trick available to avoid getting caught. From bribing witnesses and tampering with fingerprints to eliminating those who get too close, the villain constantly threatens to derail the investigation. Players will need to examine the evidence carefully and figure out who they can trust before the body count rises.

The game also supports both single-player and cooperative modes, allowing players to investigate the mystery alone or team up with others.

Before its full release, 4 Penny Coffins will feature in Steam Next Fest, which begins on October 19. A free demo will be available until October 26, giving players a chance to experience its mix of horror, investigation, and social deduction ahead of launch.

With a demonic killer on the loose and evidence that could make or break the case, 4 Penny Coffins looks ready to deliver a deadly Halloween mystery. Players can jump into the free demo next week before the investigation officially begins on October 27.
