Trove Begins the Year With a Blast
Qubesly is welcoming the new year by celebrating the return of the once thought extinct RenewUs Butterflies, a symbol of renewal across the Trove universe. To mark the occasion, gamigo has launched RenewUs 2026, a limited-time in-game event designed to encourage players to set fresh goals and take on new challenges. The event runs from January 1 through January 14 and introduces daily challenges, unique craftable items, and collectible rewards.
During RenewUs 2026, players work alongside Qubesly by gathering special materials needed to support their efforts to restore the RenewUs Butterfly population. These tasks include crafting themed items, such as a festive confetti ball, to welcome the year. There are also special banners that ensure successful butterfly collection for Qubesly’s ongoing research. Each objective ties into the larger theme of renewal and progression.
Completing Qubesly’s requests rewards players with the Sigil of RenewUs, which unlocks opportunities to earn rare and tradable items. From there, players reunite with Garx, a returning character from last year’s event, who wraps up the RenewUs 2026 questline with three new challenges and a unique final activity.
Trove itself is an open-world multiplayer sandbox where players explore countless voxel-based realms, complete quests, and battle a wide range of enemies. With flexible cube-style classes, fully destructible environments, deep building systems, and a steady flow of loot and collectibles, Trove encourages creativity and long-term progression.
Trove is available free to play on Windows PC via Steam and the official website, as well as PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
