The Zombie Slayers Are Finally Here
Solo developer Rashad Ibrahimli and indie.io have unleashed The Zombie Slayers on Steam, a cooperative top-down shooter that mixes chaotic action, slapstick humor, and a flood of undead enemies. It is a world where survival depends as much on teamwork as on the ability to laugh when a mutant Hulk turns a survivor into a very small blood sausage.

Players can join forces in teams of up to six survivors, each dressed in customizable outfits that range from practical to completely absurd. Every mission tasks players with completing objectives while staying alive, using an arsenal of guns, explosives, and deployable defenses. Among the most unusual tools are baby followers, air-dropped by a stork, who gleefully help eliminate zombies but need to be reloaded with milk bottles. This odd mechanic adds a surprising layer of strategy to the mayhem.
As players progress, they earn experience to unlock new outfits, helpful perks, and animal companions to accompany them through the apocalypse. The campaign sends players across diverse locations such as gas stations, office buildings, shipping docks, and even a malfunctioning nuclear power plant, each with unique survival challenges and objectives.
For those who prefer to fight alone, the game offers a single-player mode with AI teammates ready to lend support. Fans of pure chaos can dive into Brutal Zombie Waves mode, battling endless swarms of undead to climb the high-score leaderboard.
The Zombie Slayers is now available on Steam for 6.99 USD, with a 20% launch discount to mark its debut. Packed with humor, blood, and a surprising amount of heart, it invites players to survive the apocalypse and look fabulous doing it.
