Solve the Problems in Néro & Sci ∫ Integral Edition
The independent studio Souris-Lab has announced that its game Néro & Sci ∫ Integral Edition will be featured in the upcoming Steam Next Fest. The event will take place from October 13 to 20, 2025. A playable demo, lasting approximately 30 minutes, is now available on the game’s Steam page for everyone to try out.

Néro & Sci invites players to explore a poetic universe inspired by mathematics. Here, shapes, colors, and symbols create a distinctive backdrop for adventure. Central to the experience is the innovative White Dimension mechanic, which allows players to uncover simplified versions of the environment. This reveals hidden paths and solutions to complex puzzles.
Designed to be approachable, the game balances logic-based challenges with artistic expression. Hence, making it enjoyable even for those who typically shy away from mathematics. The development team collaborated with IREM Lyon and Texas Instruments to ensure that puzzles are both intellectually satisfying and accessible.
The game also includes a cooperative mode, encouraging players to solve puzzles together and share in the discovery of the world’s hidden secrets. The Integral Edition introduces several improvements, including a fully redesigned user interface, per-puzzle checkpoints, clearer hints, and Steam Deck support, along with additional language options, enhancing both usability and accessibility.
Caroline, co-founder of Souris-Lab, explains, “With Néro & Sci, we want to show that logic is everywhere—and that it can be both accessible and poetic. Even those who have always feared mathematics may discover curiosity and joy in it.”
Néro & Sci ∫ Integral Edition will be available on PC, Mac, and Steam Deck through Steam, offering a refreshing blend of puzzle-solving, artistic exploration, and collaborative gameplay.
