Add Slay the Princess to Your Shelf
Serenity Forge and Tesura Games have released Slay the Princess – The Pristine Cut to Europe in physical form. It is now available in both Standard and Special Editions for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. This release gives players a chance to own this unique horror experience on disc or cartridge.
Slay the Princess sets the stage with a deceptively simple premise: at the end of a forest path lies a cabin, and in its basement awaits a Princess. You are tasked with slaying her because if you do not, the world will end. What begins as a straightforward mission soon unfolds into a darkly comic, fully voice-acted narrative. It is full of branching choices and unexpected consequences that will surely surprise the players.
Developed as a horror tragicomedy, the game features hand-penciled artwork by Ignatz Award-winning graphic novelist Abby Howard, alongside stellar voice performances from Jonathan Sims and Nichole Goodnight. In this game, your words, your doubts, and your beliefs reshape the path forward. And it often leads to dramatic and unsettling turns of events.
The Pristine Cut edition expands on the original with significant new content. Players will face three new chapters, fresh Princess encounters, and extended versions of familiar routes such as The Den, The Apotheosis, and The Fury. With over 35 percent more material, the game includes more than 1,200 new illustrations, 2,500 additional voice lines, and even a brand new ending that might save or doom the world. A gallery feature has also been added, allowing players to track progress, relive pivotal moments, and discover hidden secrets.
The Standard Edition includes a Mirror Sticker Sheet and Soundtrack Download Card, making it a collector’s piece for fans eager to experience this eerie and unforgettable story.
