Independent studio Bipedal Dog and indie.io have officially released Blast Rush LS on Steam. You can purchase it for just $7.99 at a 20% discount until 30th August. The game reimagines the classic shoot ’em up formula with a focus on relentless, bomb driven chaos. Moreover, it is already available on Nintendo Switch as well, so make sure to check it out.
Originally debuting as a mobile title, Blast Rush stood out for its fast pace and accessible design. Now, Blast Rush LS expands on that foundation, rebuilt for PC with sharper visuals, refined controls, and new modes. The game defies bullet hell conventions by giving players unlimited bombs, transforming what is usually a last resort option into the core of its explosive combat.
Each ship in the game is equipped with three different bomb types, offering a total of nine destructive styles. Players can trigger massive chain reactions, sweep enemies aside with gust-like attacks, or use the Hyperdodge ability to slip through overwhelming bullet patterns. Enemy formations are crafted for spectacle and challenge, creating screens full of dazzling chaos that test quick thinking and precision.
Content variety is another highlight. Standard Mode delivers over 40 handcrafted stages, while Endurance Mode provides randomized encounters for survival-focused play. A 2 Minute mode condenses the action into short, leaderboard-ready sessions. Fans of the original will also find the mobile version included, along with a digital Library packed with concept art, notes, and the complete soundtrack.
