Shiro Games Is So Ready for Gamescom 2025
Shiro Games, the award-winning studio behind Northgard and Wartales, is set to make a major showing at Gamescom 2025 with three ambitious projects. The developer revealed new gameplay footage for SpaceCraft, Farever, and Frostrail, offering players a first look at its diverse lineup.
SpaceCraft takes players across a vast interstellar playground, blending multiplayer exploration with automation. From navigating asteroid belts to landing on planetary surfaces, players can gather resources, design custom ships, and construct automated bases. Cooperation is at the core, with opportunities to join online corporations and scale adventures into massive collective endeavors. Check out the footage right here.
In Farever, Shiro introduces a cooperative action RPG set in the lively world of Siagarta. Teams can explore sprawling landscapes, raid dungeons, and take part in large-scale events, all while engaging in fluid real-time combat. With ten unique classes and more than a hundred weapons, players have a wealth of customization options. Professions like crafting and resource gathering provide additional ways to contribute, ensuring every role feels impactful. You can check out the new footage here.
Meanwhile, Frostrail, developed by FakeFish, creators of Barotrauma, plunges players into a frozen post-apocalyptic wasteland. Survival hinges on maintaining a train convoy, upgrading carriages, and scavenging abandoned settlements for supplies. Players must also defend themselves against horrifying Revenants in tense first-person encounters before the hostile world closes in. Click here for the footage.
