The World of Farever Is About to Get Much Bigger
Shiro Games has officially pulled back the curtain on the first major update for Farever, titled “The Nightling Invasion.” Currently available as a Major Preview through Steam Early Access, the update offers players an early look at what’s shaping up to be a significant expansion, with a full free release planned for a later date. To mark the occasion, the game will also be part of the Steam Summer Sale starting June 25, featuring a limited-time 15% discount.
This upcoming update expands the world of Siagarta in meaningful ways. Mysterious portals known as Rifts have begun appearing across the land, opening pathways to the hostile realm of Niflel. These rifts bring waves of increasingly dangerous demonic enemies, encouraging players to team up in large-scale world events. Up to 15 adventurers can join forces to take on threats ranging from minor foes to powerful primordial bosses, earning Demonic Souls that can be traded for rare rewards like mounts, weapons, and runes.
Alongside these events, players can now explore Ramburg, a massive stronghold controlled by the Crimson Rams. The city introduces new areas such as the Lower City, two challenging dungeons, and a towering Cathedral filled with secrets. As players navigate through monks, soldiers, and inquisitors, they’ll uncover the dark influence of the feared High Inquisitor Chakram.
The update also raises the level cap to 25 and adds new quests, gear sets, and achievements, offering plenty for both new and returning players to dive into. With this preview now live, Farever is clearly setting the stage for something bigger. There’s a strong sense that this is only the beginning of what’s to come.
