More Vessels and Challenges for Ship Graveyard Simulator 2
Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 is expanding its content on Xbox Series X|S with two new downloadable expansions: Steel Giants and Submarines. Both the paid DLCs will launch on August 7. And it will bring new challenges and massive ships to dismantle in the already expansive shipbreaking experience.
Developed by Polish studio Games Incubator and published on consoles by Ultimate Games S.A., Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 originally launched on PC, where it holds a 78% positive rating from over 2,800 Steam reviews. It later made its way to PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S, where players have already had access to the Warships DLC. Now, Xbox players can dive deeper with these two new content packs.
The Steel Giants DLC introduces four enormous vessels to break down: a container ship, an oil tanker, a gas carrier, and a nuclear icebreaker. Each ship brings with it new contracts, achievements, and hidden loot. A notable addition is the presence of steam pipes that block progress, requiring careful planning to safely cut off the steam and reach key areas.
The Submarines DLC shifts focus to a different kind of shipbreaking. Players will face new challenges tied to the structure and complexity of submarines, including radioactive materials. Submarines feature unique layouts, often requiring players to remove internal floors, walls, and connectors to navigate and complete objectives. New collectibles and achievements further expand the gameplay variety.
Both expansions add significant depth and variety to Ship Graveyard Simulator 2. It promises to offer fresh tools, obstacles, and strategies for players ready to take on the toughest jobs at sea.
