Become a Wizard in the Spell Brigade
We have magical news for everyone out there! The Belgian indie game studio Bolt Blaster Games is proud to present its newest upcoming title, The Spell Brigade. It is an online co-op survivors-like that will be coming out on PC via Steam later this year. Check out the official reveal trailer below to get a glimpse of the action.
The Spell Brigade is an online top-down co-op survivors-like for up to 4 players. You will become a wizard and team up with your friends to take on hordes of monsters. It features different spell combinations with various elements, resulting in synergies that can become very overpowered. There are multiple worlds with different objectives and difficulties as well. So, whether you play it alone or in a team, there will be room to grow and unlock all the different wizards and spells.
This is what Bolt Blaster Games stated in the press release regarding the involvement of the community in the development:
“We’ve learned a lot during the development of our last game. One of the things we would love to do more is involve the community and ask for their feedback. We really value their input and love working with them to refine the game during development. Our first goal is to start playtesting with community members as soon as possible! People can follow us on Steam to keep up-to-date with development and upcoming events.”
Here are some key features:
– Online co-op for 1-4 players: It combines the survivors-like game loop with good old multiplayer madness.
– Friendly fire bullet hell: Inspired by games like Magicka and the recent Helldivers 2, the game takes pride in its chaotic friendly fire system.
– Create overpowered spell synergies: A big emphasis on the different spells and the possibility to upgrade and combine anything, all in a vibrant 3D art style.
